Team Pakistan loses the No. 1 spot in the ODI rankings. India Cricket Team to Rise

The Indian cricket team performed brilliantly in the Asia Cup 2023 and finished in second place before Pakistan, who lost their number one ODI ranking after their elimination from the tournament. The Babar Azam-led side lost to Sri Lanka in a last-ball thriller for their second successive defeat in the Super Four and slipped to third spot with 115 points in the ICC midweek update.



Australia's cricket team is 2 points ahead of India and is now the number one ODI team as the race for the top spot has intensified before the ODI World Cup 2023.

Both India and Australia are going to face each other in a three-match ODI series that is going to be held in India starting on September 22 before the world cup opener in Chennai on October 8.
Team India is going to play in the finals of the Asia Cup 2023 against the co-host of the tournament, Sri Lanka.
