On August 5, before the ODI World Cup 2023, the ICC is going to inspect Eden Gardens

The officials from both the ICC and BCCI are going to visit Kolkata Eden Gardens for inspection before the ODI World Cup 2023. They may come to the venue on Saturday as a routine visit to check on the preparations for the upcoming mega event that is going to take place in India. The representatives of the ICC will be inspecting all the fields where the matches of the World Cup are going to be held. They had already gone to Dharamshala and will now come to Kolkata on August 5.

This time, Eden Gardens will host five World Cup matches. One of the matches is between India and South Africa. Along with that, there will be a semi-final at Eden Gardens. The matches between Bangladesh and Pakistan will also be held in Kolkata. Apart from these five matches, Eden may get another high-voltage match between India and Pakistan if both teams qualify for the semis.

On the same note, CAB president SnehasisGanguly said that "We are prepared for every challenge. And if an India vs. Pakistan match is there, then it would be good for us. There's nothing more exciting than that. We are ready. The ICC is coming to inspect us, and more work is in progress. We also talked with the police. They are also ready to provide security every time. We are very confident."
