Former Indian batsman Aakash Chopra Weighs in on the Injury to Prithvi Shaw

Aakash Chopra, a former batsman of the Indian cricket team, has said that it is difficult to fight luck at times while talking about the recent injury of India batter Prithvi Shaw. Shaw picked up a knee injury while playing for Northamptonshire in the Royal London One-Day Cup.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra said it seemed like Shaw had turned a corner but has picked up an injury and will be traveling back to India. Shaw was the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 429 runs in four innings before injuring himself while fielding against Durham.

Chopra said, "It seemed like Prithvi Shaw had turned a corner. He had gone to play county cricket and was trying to do well there. He batted extremely well, but now he has a knee injury. When everything was going fine, he was scoring runs. He injured his knee, and now he will be heading home."

He further said that Shaw has seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in cricket, while insisting that it is difficult to fight luck at times.
